I purchased the esim a few days before my trip, got it within minutes via email and simply scan the qr code and it’s done. Service will not work until you’re in Thailand so don’t worry about installing it prior to your trip. AIS is one of the biggest carriers in Thailand and the connection is solid even in MRT stations and trains. This will be my go to site whenever I’m going to Thailand in the future. Thanks esim2fly!

The best practice is to buy the eSIM 1-2 weeks in advance. You can scan the QR code anytime you want, and on the day of your trip, However, This eSIM does not activate until you arrive in Thailand.
